What the Job Involves
As an Outreach Family Support Worker, you will take on the responsibility of providing high-quality, outreach, and home-based Early Help support to children and families, focusing on preventing the need for statutory services. You'll manage complex cases that step down from social care, delivering targeted support to vulnerable children and young people. Your role includes completing early help assessments, acting as Lead Professional, and coordinating multi-agency support to develop and implement Team Around the Family plans. You'll engage families in practical parenting strategies, promote equal opportunities, safeguard young people, and ensure compliance with statutory guidelines.
