You are a dedicated professional committed to supporting young people transitioning from care to independent living. You possess significant experience working with vulnerable young people and have a deep understanding of the legislative framework surrounding Looked After Children and Care Leavers. You demonstrate success in partnership working, are a strong team player, and maintain accurate electronic case records.
What the Job Involves
As a Personal Advisor, you will be accountable for providing statutory casework services to young people leaving care, developing care plans, and coordinating a multi-agency network to support each individual. You will plan and deliver group work sessions, participate in emergency duty services, and manage financial resources. Your role involves collaborating with various agencies to ensure holistic care planning and supporting care leavers in their transition to adulthood.
