We are looking for someone with strong organisational and planning skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and experience working across services or partnerships. The ability to work under pressure, confidence working with senior officers and external partners, strong analytical skills, and attention to detail are essential qualities. This role requires flexibility with hybrid working, but during active inspection periods, on-site presence is necessary. Local candidates or those who can travel across North Yorkshire are preferred.
What the Job Involves
As an Inspection Coordination Officer for North Yorkshire Council, you will play a key role in the CYPS team, ensuring the council is fully prepared for, supported during, and organized after external inspections. You will be responsible for leading and coordinating inspection preparations, maintaining a central evidence base, liaising with internal teams and multi-agency partners, and acting as the point of contact for inspection teams. Additionally, you will organize logistics, provide communication to senior leaders, and support the development of post-inspection action plans.
