Who You Are

You are a qualified and registered Social Worker with a solid understanding of the Care Act 2014, Mental Health Act 1983, and Mental Capacity Act 2005. You bring excellent assessment and analytical skills with the ability to manage complex cases and make sound, evidence-based decisions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills enable you to build effective relationships with adults, carers, and multi-agency partners. You are committed to safeguarding, promoting independence, and delivering person-centred support while demonstrating resilience and adaptability. You have a passion for continuous learning and a commitment to service improvement.

What the job involves

As a Mental Health Social Worker, you play a pivotal role in empowering individuals to achieve recovery and independence. You will work alongside adults to identify their strengths and aspirations, creating person-centred plans that make a real difference. This position offers the opportunity to manage a varied caseload in line with the Care Act 2014 and Mental Health Act 1983, while collaborating with health professionals, community services, and carers to deliver integrated, holistic support. You will uphold safeguarding responsibilities and legal compliance and respond effectively in times of crisis. By promoting recovery, well-being, and best practice, you will help shape services to enable adults to live well and be part of their communities.
