You demonstrate sensitivity and a willingness to embrace change, with the ability to prioritize workloads effectively. Access to a vehicle is essential for this role.
What the Job Involves
As a Social Worker in Adult Services, you will undertake risk and care needs assessments, manage a varied caseload, and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and policy. You will work collaboratively with various agencies, perform statutory reviews, and liaise with service users and carers to develop effective care plans. You will facilitate a needs-led service, participate in team meetings, and contribute to the development of social work practices. Your role will also require engagement with service users who may refuse service and managing crisis situations using relevant resources and legislation.
