What the Job Involves
The role of a Support Worker in the Community Living Service involves providing 24-hour support to adults with disabilities. You will assist with daily living tasks such as personal care, communication, and mobility, as well as meal preparation and household tasks. The job also includes facilitating access to community activities, following individual care and behavior support plans, and ensuring wellbeing and inclusion. You will be expected to keep accurate records and adhere to the values and professional standards set by Social Care Wales. This role requires working shifts that cover days, evenings, nights, weekends, and sleep-in duties, and is based in Chirk, Wrexham.
