What the Job Involves
As the Housing Capital Programme Contract Manager, you will be responsible for the management and delivery of Housing Capital Programme contracts. You will oversee approximately £20m of annual spend on improvement projects, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and Council objectives. Your role involves project management for large, complex projects to ensure outcomes are delivered to cost, quality, and timeline constraints, while minimizing the impact on residents. You will also manage external contractors, handle budget responsibilities, lead procurement activities, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships. Other duties include health and safety oversight, contributing to strategic planning, financial management, and engaging customers to foster satisfaction and efficient service delivery.
