We are looking for a dedicated Principal Social Worker specializing in Fostering Kinship to join our team. You will supervise staff, develop training and policies, and work collaboratively across departments to ensure a high standard of practice.
What the Job Involves
As a Principal Social Worker, you will lead the Quality Assurance and performance for the Kinship service, managing complex casework, mentoring staff, and developing strategic plans. Your responsibilities will also include quality monitoring of assessments for presentation to panels, continuous improvement of best practice standards, and contributing to service delivery and standards. This role includes agile working with some out of hours commitment, and requires coordination with multiple agencies and stakeholders to enhance service provision for foster carers.
