What the Job Involves
This role involves delivering and developing youth work sessions as part of the Young Tower Hamlets ‘safe spaces’ initiative. You will engage young people through one-to-one and group work activities, contributing to their personal, social, and educational development. Responsibilities include supporting young people's understanding of risks, empowering them for positive actions, and signposting or referring them to other services. You will be actively involved in the planning, delivery, and evaluation of programs, ensuring the youth have opportunities to participate and influence the service to better serve their needs. Building maintenance, attending meetings, training, and ensuring compliance with council policies are also essential tasks.
