Who You Are
An enthusiastic and dedicated Social Worker or Experienced Social Worker looking to make a positive impact within the Fostering Service. You should be passionate about achieving safe and positive outcomes for children and young people and be comfortable working in a collaborative and supportive environment.
What the job involves
Joining the Fostering Service, you will be part of a dynamic team tasked with recruiting and supporting foster carers, training and supporting Generic Foster Carers, and working with Champion Foster Carers, Connected Foster Carers, and families with Special Guardianship Orders. You'll also support Supported Lodgings Hosts and "When I'm Ready" Foster Carers. You will be based in one of the four dedicated Hubs, each with specific functions, roles, and responsibilities, but may be required to move between Hubs as necessary to meet the needs of the service. The role offers a positive working environment supported by experienced colleagues and management.
