You are an empathetic and dedicated professional with a degree in Social Work or equivalent and are registered with Social Care Wales. You bring experience in working with individuals, particularly within safeguarding vulnerable adults, managing complex caseloads, and operating within the frameworks of the Social Services and Wellbeing Act and the Mental Capacity Act. What the Job Involves
This role involves assisting clients to resolve major life difficulties while enhancing their independence and coping skills. You will assess, commission, and review services, working actively to protect vulnerable individuals while adhering to statutory guidance and policies. The position requires managing and prioritizing workload, participating in decision-making forums, and working collaboratively within a team. You will contribute to planning and delivering individual care packages and uphold legal and procedural frameworks. Participation in supervision, team meetings, and compliance with health and safety legislation is required, along with actively supporting the Council’s environmental goals.
