You are a skilled and experienced Leasehold Advisor with a strong understanding of leasehold legislation and financial data management. You possess excellent customer care and communication skills, and you have the confidence to handle complex queries. You have prior experience working within the leasehold sector, and you are adept at analyzing financial data and managing service charges.

What the Job Involves

The Leasehold Advisor role at Westminster City Council involves supporting Housing Services, Collections, and Sales & Acquisition teams. You will process a variety of leasehold-related transactions, handle enquiries, and perform technical service charge calculations. You will engage with customers and stakeholders, process leasehold services such as home ownership schemes and property sales, and manage service charges and financial responsibilities. Your role will contribute to improving accuracy in service charge production, strengthening financial controls, and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Skills

  • Prior experience in the leasehold sector
  • Experience preparing and managing service charges
  • Understanding of Section 20 legislative requirements
  • Strong spreadsheet skills
  • Confident with Office 365
