Who You Are

You are an experienced HGV Technician with a strong background in vehicle maintenance and repair. Dedicated and meticulous, you have a proven track record in diagnosing and fixing mechanical and electrical issues in a variety of vehicles, particularly within the Council fleet.

What the Job Involves

This role is based at the Trostre Depot with working hours from 8am to 4pm, Monday to Thursday, and 8am to 3.30pm on Friday. The main responsibilities include servicing, inspecting, repairing, diagnosing, and maintaining Council fleet vehicles. The role involves working with hydraulic and electrical equipment for specialized vehicle bodies.

Skills

• NVQ Level 3 in light or heavy motor vehicle engineering
• Proficient in diagnosing and repairing vehicle mechanical issues
• Experience with hydraulic and electrical systems
• Attention to detail in servicing and maintenance
• Valid driving license - Minimum Category B
