Who You Are
We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our Families First Front Door Service on a temporary basis for up to 9 months to cover maternity leave. You will play a critical role in supporting the service's mission to provide effective safeguarding through a child-centered and collaborative approach. As a part of our team, your expertise will contribute to positively impacting the lives of children, young people, and families in Plymouth.
What the Job Involves
You will be working within a team that provides 24-hour response services, addressing concerns about children and young people. As a Social Worker on our team, you will help gather essential information about children and their families to guide decisions and ensure timely support. You will be part of a rota that includes weeknight and weekend shifts, with the added responsibility of the Emergency Duty Service outside regular hours to respond to urgent cases.
