What the Job Involves
As a Data Analyst at Slough Borough Council, you support the development and implementation of the Council’s Data Strategy. Your responsibilities include creating and enhancing the technical data infrastructure, leading data projects, ensuring data quality, and building insightful Power BI dashboards. You will collaborate with teams across the organization to improve data usage and deliver better service delivery insights. Your expertise will be crucial in supporting transformation initiatives through data-driven insights and improved management information.
Skills
- Experience with complex datasets and data visualization
- Proficiency in SQL, R, Python, and Power BI
- Strong skills in communication and interpretation of data insights
- Experience in developing data pipelines and services
- Ability to build dashboards and visualizations
- Experience delivering insights to senior stakeholders
- Knowledge of cloud technologies and service models (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS)
- Familiarity with national and international standards (ITIL, ISO 20000)
