What the Job Involves
In this role, you will manage a Children & Families caseload of varying complexity, including conducting assessments, planning, implementing, and evaluating actions. You will work with children, young people, their families, and carers, in accordance with the principles of the 1989 Children’s Act. Responsibilities include formulating and implementing plans to meet assessed needs and risks, handling office duties, responding to crises, developing services, supervising students, and initiating relationships with foster carers and partner agencies. You will maintain accurate records, keep abreast of legislative changes, and ensure safe working practices.
