What the job involves

The position involves the cleaning of all internal areas of the school. You will be assigned a specific area, which may include toilets, corridors, staff rooms, classrooms, school halls, indoor sports areas, changing rooms, offices, and communal areas. Your duties will include sanitizing toilets, sinks, and floors; general cleaning tasks such as hoovering, swiffing, mopping, and cleaning furnishings; as well as maintaining cleanliness in sport areas and changing rooms. You will also be responsible for emptying waste bins and may be required to operate a scrubber dryer machine. The role is term-time only, and all relevant training will be provided. A DBS check is required for this position.
