What the Job Involves

This role involves working in a busy location, handling cases received from our MASH and assessment teams. You will work with families under Child in Need plans, Child Protection plans, and manage cases until they are ready to be transferred to our Court or LAC teams. You will practice Strengths Based practice to ensure children's safety, develop and implement child protection plans, undertake statutory visits, and keep case records. You will also handle crisis situations, attend child protection conferences and court proceedings, and liaise with schools, health professionals, and other agencies to coordinate support. Additionally, you are responsible for providing written reports for legal proceedings, monitoring case progress, and advocating for children's rights and welfare. Office presence is required a minimum of three times per week to support team morale and development.
