What the Job Involves
As a Family Practitioner, you will work directly with children, young people, and families, providing focused support to address challenges and improve outcomes. You will develop and facilitate holistic action plans, deliver evidence-based interventions, maintain high standards of case recording, and build strong links with local services. The role involves flexible working hours to meet the needs of families, including some evenings and weekends.
Skills
- 2+ years' experience as a Family Support Worker or Family Practitioner
- Knowledge of evidence-based intervention strategies
- Skills in mediation and conflict resolution
- Familiarity with Early Help Assessments and TAF
- Understanding of restorative and trauma-informed practices
- Commitment to professional development
