Advanced Practitioner (Social Care)

Who You Are

We are seeking an Advanced Practitioner with over 3 years of permanent statutory social work experience. You should have expertise in Children in Care and Children Looked After, with excellent engagement and direct working skills with children and young people. You must be a car driver with access to a vehicle. Note that candidates cannot apply if they are leaving a permanent social work role in the North West region unless there is a 3-month gap.

What the Job Involves

This role involves working within our Permanence Teams to ensure stable placements and improved long-term outcomes for children. You will engage in care and placement planning, minimizing risk with a methodical and organized approach. A strong understanding of Corporate Parenting and Children Looked After legislation and processes is essential. The role requires 3 days on site in Liverpool per week and offers 2 days of homeworking. Pay is £40 per hour under umbrella/ltd status.
